PLANTING THE POTATOES IN TIERWORKER C1940

Peter McCabe says (October 26, 2009) – “I am sending you a third photo which shows from left to right – My Dad Ted McCabe, Owenie Reilly (Mother’s brother), Mick McCabe (my uncle), and Terry McCabe (my Granda). As you can see they were planting potatoes in ridges by hand in the second field above our home at Tierworker; I am sure you will recognise it as you can see the old Donnelly home in Glanadara in the background.”
